The premise for this movie was pretty much "Superbad" but if it happened to a group of 12 year olds. I loved "Superbad" when it came out and it was an extremely funny teen comedy.
This one isn"t even nearly as good and most of the jokes in the movie are just "Hey isn"t it funny when a 12 year old interacts with [Booze, Drugs, or sex item. It gets old really fast and really shows how thin and forgettable the movie is. HEY ISNT IT FUNNY WHEN KIDS SWEAR EH EH EH. br> The only reason I"m giving it 5 stars is because the kids in it are genuinely good with the material they have. Honestly the performances of the 3 leads heighten the poor material they"ve been given. Tremblay is already an established great child actor and he does a really good job with the comedy beats. The other two are a bit less known, but they really get some of the few laughs this movie has. Whether it"s the perfectly timed pre-pubescent scream, or their little jabs at each other, the kids in this truly shine.
I"d love to see them in a comedy that is genuinely funny and has good writing, and not one that solely relies on sex jokes for 90 mins. But once the 10th "Hey isn"t it funny that the kids don"t know what this sex toy is" joke keeps nudging you with it"s elbow trying to force a laugh, you"ll have a bruised shoulder with how many more times they will try another after that.

Watching the trailer in slow mo ain"t bad ??. GD has the most unique voice and Taeyang"s voice is somehow soothing. I have to say, this is one of the first comedies to catch my attention in a while. I think it"ll be fun to see if this studio is able to get a relatable and funny perception of childhood while also maintaining the presence of the real world. I mean, probably not, but there"s hope this"ll be a good movie. The funny parts were in the trailer, acting was what you"d expect from kids saying things they probably don"t understand. Was light hearted and an easy watch. VOB (Video Object) is the container format in DVD-Video media. GD was my idol too. He is so cool n cute and the same time. He is gangsta. Taeyang was my idol too. The matrix path of neo. The matrix 4. The matrix chambers. The matrix ytp. The hype from this movie was huge. From its surprisingly huge box office to internet fan sites, to constant gushing by friends and relatives, I thought this was a can"t-miss.
For me, it missed.
1. They give away the essential secret/premise very early on (there are other revelations of course, but the whole matrix thing gets exposed very early. I thought it would"ve worked better to keep it mysterious to bouy the next complaint.
2. It dragged in the middle. Big time. Practically nothing happens. no tension. nothing. A bunch of dialog explaining "the rules. If they held onto the mystery a little longer, that could have kept this dead part a bit more interesting. During this 70 minute dead spot, all I could think of was how I had to go to the bathroom.
3. Even with all that explaining, it still gets a little confusing, and there were many questions to be asked of the writer, along the lines of "Why didn"t they just instead of 4. The last 20-30 minutes of this movie really rock. I think this explains why so many are ga-ga over this film. It just rips out of its sleepy middle and smokes right through to the credits. I (and many others) liked Episode One for the same reason - it leaves you breathless, forgetting that most of the movie was pretty tired.
But the difference between ep one and this (and why I liked ep one better) is they broke up the middle with a pod race. Here there"s nothing like that.

People who hold the Matrix"s schtick as near-religious belief should read a book once in a while and broaden their cultural horizons a little more; the fact is, the only thing the Matrix has managed to do is steal ideas from countless other genres (mostly from anime and Hong Kong "blood operas. infuse them with superficial philosophical crap that would make a high school goth blogger blush and blend it all perfectly into one slick, hyperactive and CGI-laden package. The Wachowski"s should pat themselves on the back: the emperor has no clothes and no one seems to have noticed. These glaring flaws are even more apparent in the second installment of the series, where the prodigal brothers finally show us that the only thing they can do is retread the same old ground.
Entertaining? Sure; the effects are impressive and the pace never really slows down, even in spite of Mr. Reeve"s wooden (to put it mildly) acting. But the fact that this rip-off of Asian culture and post-modern angst is scored higher than movies like A Clockwork Orange or Blade Runner is ludicrous.

Life is a box of chocolates. You never know what you"re gonna get. This is the best film i have ever seen. tom hanks plays the role of forrest gump perfectly. certain parts of this film still make me cry even after watching it for the 50th time. anyone who doesnt like this film must be poorly raised trailer trash, and thats all i have to say about that.

This is an excellent story of after WWII generation which is shown through the life of a man and his true love. He seems like a stupid guy firstly, but his conclusion shows the naked true of life.
